You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist with access control, and respond to customer and/or tenant concerns with clear communication and strong service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring integrity, teamwork, and an innovative, people-first mindset to every shift.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a retail mall location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing assistance, coordinating with site contacts, and/or requesting public emergency services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, loading and service areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.

+ Monitor and/or control access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with crowd and line management during peak shopping periods and special events.

+ Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Loss Prevention is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
