** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking structures, loading areas, and exterior perimeters; observe and report unusual activity and/or potential hazards.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls for service, and/or lost child assistance, following post orders and escalation protocols.

+ Monitor access points and assist with traffic flow and/or crowd movement during peak shopping periods and special events; offer directions and information as needed.

+ Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports; communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
