** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Monitor entry points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access logs and related documentation.

+ Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms and/or emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site management and/or emergency services as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of apartment common areas, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Complete detailed reports regarding incidents, access activity, policy violations and/or maintenance issues, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have 6+ months of security experience.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
