Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements, and it is ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, clear communication, and customer-focused service.

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail common areas, service corridors, and exterior perimeters to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, disputes, and medical situations until help arrives.
• Monitor access points, loading and/or receiving areas, and back-of-house spaces; verify credentials when required and report suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Handcuffs/Pepper Spray/Baton is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
