** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, observe activity on the property, and document incidents, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site expectations.

+ Support crowd management, assist with directions and general assistance, and help promote an orderly environment during daily operations, peak shopping periods, and/or special events.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
