Asset Protection Visual Security Officer

Summary

The Asset Protection Visual Security Officer is responsible for protecting store assets and maintaining a safe shopping environment through observation and deterrence. This part-time temporary role conducts visual surveillance, patrols the sales floor, and supports investigations while working closely with store teams. The officer enforces loss prevention policies and responds to incidents professionally and promptly.

• Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular visual patrols of the sales floor and perimeter.
• Identify, deter, and document suspicious activity and theft; assist with apprehensions following store policy and local law.
• Support loss prevention investigations and prepare clear incident reports and logs.
• Collaborate with store management and associates to improve safety and loss prevention practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior loss prevention, security, or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods; flexible availability including nights and weekends.
• Successful completion of background check and any required screenings.
• Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
