** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

+ Monitor access points and observe onsite activity, assisting with visitor interactions, policy reminders, and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns noticed during patrols.

+ Support a welcoming residential environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting incidents, hazards, and/or disturbances according to site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
