We're actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Life Web Solutions team in Newport Beach, CA.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting-edge web solutions to enhance Customer Journey. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 5 people in the CMD division. Your colleagues will include Senior System Analysts & Engineers, fellow professionals that believe in open communication, collaboration & teamwork, continuous learning, innovation and at the same time having fun by virtue of recognitions and celebrations.
Howyou'll help move us forward:
- Design, develop & deliver end to end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
- Design, develop & maintain end to end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ Years of software development experiences with minimum 2 years of experience as Full Stack Engineer.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React).
- Strong proficiency in server-side languages (.NET, Node.js).
- Experience with other programming languages like Python and/or Java is a plus.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and SOAP/RESTful/Graph
QL API design. - Experience with database technologies (SQL Server, Postgre
SQL, Dynamo
DB). - Proficiency with Dev Sec Ops practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with Work Management platforms Azure Dev Ops or similar platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
- Experience with an Integration Platform like Mulesoft is a plus.
- Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
