We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Life Web Solutions team in Newport Beach, CA. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting-edge web solutions to enhance the Customer Journey. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 5 people in the CMD division.

Your colleagues will include Senior System Analysts & Engineers, fellow professionals that believe in open communication, collaboration & teamwork, continuous learning, innovation and fun.

How You’ll Help Move Us Forward
  • Design, develop & deliver end-to-end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
  • Design, develop & maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
The Experience You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React).
  • Strong proficiency in server-side languages (.NET, Node.js).
  • Experience with other programming languages like Python and/or Java is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and SOAP/RESTful/Graph

    QL API design.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQLServer, Postgre Sql, Dynamo

    DB).
  • Proficiency with Dev Sec Ops  practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Experience with work-management platforms Azure Dev Ops or similar platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
What Makes You Stand Out
  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with an Integration Platform like Mule Soft is a plus.
  • Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.
