Senior Integration Engineer - Platform Security

Job Summary

Senior level Java developer to join the Platform security team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java development, support and configuration of secrets management solutions (Hashi Corp Vault preferred), cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), and a basic understanding of application security principles and best practices. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual, who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality software solutions and services.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Assist with defining integration points with existing systems and applications.

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for services and applications owned by the team.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the codebase and development processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of six years professional working experience.
• Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot applications with a focus on security and performance.
• Implement and maintain Hashi Corp Vault for secrets management and secure data storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into application development.
• Develop cloud-based solutions and ensure they meet security compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud security and application development.
• Provide ticket support and work on ad hoc issue resolution.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Hashi Corp Vault and general secrets management.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Java development and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
