We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Journey team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is open to hybrid or full remote. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting‑edge web solutions to enhance Customer Journey.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and deliver end‑to‑end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high‑quality software solutions.
- Own end‑to‑end feature development, from concept to deployment.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
- Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (Angular, React, Type Script).
- Strong proficiency in server‑side languages (Java, Node.js).
- Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, No
SQL). - Proficiency with Dev Sec Ops practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with work‑management platforms such as Azure Dev Ops or similar.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Works independently with minimal guidance.
- Knowledge of Gen AI RAG and MCP patterns.
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified Developer).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
- Experience with an integration platform like Mule Soft.
- Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.
- Base Pay Range: $ – $ (actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications and geographic location).
