We're actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Life Web Solutions team. This role will be 4 days onsite in the Newport Beach, CA office and will play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth by building and delivering cutting‑edge self‑service capabilities for customers on our external facing websites, in addition to enabling marketing technology solutions.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions to meet business needs and build in accordance with enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high‑quality software solutions.
- Own end‑to‑end feature development, from concept to deployment.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Full‑Stack Engineer.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries, such as React.
- Strong proficiency in server‑side languages (Node.js); experience with Python and/or Java is a plus.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and SOAP/RESTful/GraphQL API design.
- Experience with database technologies (SQLServer, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
- Proficiency with Dev Sec Ops practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with work‑management platforms such as Azure Dev Ops or similar.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
- Experience with an integration platform like Mulesoft.
- Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.
Base Pay Range: $ – $ (actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location). Eligible employees may receive additional incentive pay.
