Currently partnering with a client looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role will oversee financial reporting, manage accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This is a Peninsula‑side location easily commutable from Hampton, York County, Williamsburg, and the Southside via the HRBT. It a fully onsite opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities
- Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations
- Manage and process investor distributions, including tracking and reporting
- Prepare and file personal property tax returns and business license applications/renewals
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Review property-level financials for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with corporate reporting
- Assist with tax request and work directly with external accountants as needed
- 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- Strong GL accounting knowledge
- CPA preferred but not required
