People Share is urgently hiring in the Newport News, Virginia area!
Accounts Payable Coordinator Job Details- Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm - Pay Rate: $20– $23/hr (depending on experience)
- Type:
Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
Job Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approval before payment.
- Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and assist with month-end closing activities and audits.
Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable, accounting, or related financial administration experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
