the Role
The Sourcing Analyst – Rough Plumbing/PVF will be responsible for assisting in implementing category level sourcing strategy development and execution, as well as developing and managing global supply base to meet Rough Plumbing / PVF OB (Own Brands) business growth needs. This will include improving supplier diversification, implementing OPCO integration, assisting in supplier onboarding, driving global suppliers’ performance management, understanding OB product total landing cost, identifying and developing new materials and technologies, ensuring supply capacity, managing continuity of supply, and improving overall quality compliance.
LocationIdeally a hybrid role based out of Newport News, VA HQ. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office (usually Tue, Wed, Thu) and 2 days remote (usually Mon, Fri). Remote options considered for qualified candidates not located in Newport News, VA.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist in implementing global sourcing and supplier development strategic indicatives to support OB global sourcing needs.
- Compile, review, and analyze RFQs and RFI related to product sourcing.
- Understand and define key product cost structure, identify cost savings opportunities, and lead cost optimization projects.
- Assist in category related supplier exploration, qualification, onboarding and contract negotiation and execution.
- Coordinate global new and existing product development and sourcing projects, ensuring successful execution of the product development pipeline.
- Support OPCO integration related complex projects and collaborate closely with OPCO functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of the integration plan.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum 1-2 years of branch experience, including customer service, operations, product applications, and ERP utilization.
