Volt is immediately hiring for FACILITIES PLANNER 3 in NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia.

• Plans utilization of space and facilities for the company consistent with organizational efficiency and available resources. Oversees all phases of equipment and machinery maintenance, facility modifications, and building projects-from design concept through implementation.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project requirements, negotiate contracts and changes, and establish operating budgets.
  • Act as primary contact for facilities, equipment maintenance, and project activities.
  • Lead project reviews for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Identify problems and develop solutions (resource allocation, scope changes).
  • Coordinate work of employees assigned to projects.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree + 6 years relevant experience
• Master's degree + 4 years relevant experience

Experience:

• Strong warehouse logistics background
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred but not required
• Computer proficiency

$38.24 - $50.30 Hourly
