Volt is immediately hiring for FACILITIES PLANNER 3 in NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia.
Job Description- Plans utilization of space and facilities for the company consistent with organizational efficiency and available resources. Oversees all phases of equipment and machinery maintenance, facility modifications, and building projects-from design concept through implementation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Define project requirements, negotiate contracts and changes, and establish operating budgets.
- Act as primary contact for facilities, equipment maintenance, and project activities.
- Lead project reviews for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Identify problems and develop solutions (resource allocation, scope changes).
- Coordinate work of employees assigned to projects.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree + 6 years relevant experience
- Master's degree + 4 years relevant experience
Experience:
- Strong warehouse logistics background
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred but not required
- Computer proficiency
- Project Management

Pay Rate$38.24 - $50.30 Hourly
