Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs).
- Perform routine job site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Lead pre-task planning meetings, toolbox talks, and daily safety briefings.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and develop corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and client-specific safety requirements.
- Coordinate employee safety orientations and ongoing safety training.
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspection records, and compliance metrics.
- Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to foster a culture of safety and accountability.

- 13 years of construction safety experience in commercial and/or industrial projects.
- Mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing construction experience preferred.
- Experience developing Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs).
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting software.
- Ability to work effectively with field personnel and project management teams.
- Preferred
Certifications:
OSHA 30-Hour Construction (OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 preferred), First Aid/CPR Certification, CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or other construction safety certifications are a plus. - Preferred Industry Background:
Commercial Construction, Industrial Construction, Mechanical Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, Design-Build Contractors, MEP Contractors.
