The Construction Estimator is responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings,

must aggressively follow up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received.

• Ability to foster strong relationships with subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
• Applicants must have strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Bid Administration: prepares subcontractor bid packages, ensures that we have the
• proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day, and enters all relevant information
• Review bid requirements thoroughly and ask follow-up questions on every bid.

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7+ years experience and knowledge of construction estimating, means & methods, accounting, document organization, and ability to read / understand all types of construction drawings and documents.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Some periodic travel for site visits may be required.
