Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up and major renovation projects across the Newport News / Hampton Roads region. This company has a strong reputation for quality construction, long-term employee retention, and a collaborative culture focused on safety, leadership development, and operational excellence. Projects span commercial, healthcare, multifamily, higher education, government, industrial, and mixed-use sectors.

The Superintendent will oversee all field operations from project start through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, enforce safety protocols, and serve as the primary field leader on commercial construction projects.

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience
• Experience with ground-up commercial or large renovation projects
• Ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced schedules
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and safety regulations
• Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
