Cinemark Cinema Crew Members are the heart of our theatre, ensuring a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Crew Member, you will be fast, accurate, and well‑informed about our films, events, and ongoing specials. Your mission is to deliver the highest quality service and assist our guests to maximize their cinematic experience. You may take on various roles, including Usher, Box Office, or Concessionist, as needed.

Each Crew Member is required to perform the essential duties associated with these positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize Cinemark's Point of Sale (POS) system for all transactions processed at your register.
  • Check tickets at the podium and guide guests to their respective auditoriums.
  • Ensure ticket sales adhere to MPAA rating guidelines and company policies.
  • Provide information regarding pricing, film details, special events, and alternative movie options.
  • Answer guest inquiries via phone and in person with a commitment to quality customer service.
  • Conduct theatre inspections to maintain optimal movie presentation and sound quality while monitoring for any theft and safety issues.
  • Keep the theatre clean and free of debris, including all public areas, auditoriums, and parking facilities.
  • Prepare food and operate cooking, warming, and popping equipment according to safety standards.
  • Consistently sanitize high‑contact areas to ensure guest health and safety.
  • Follow all local and federal food safety regulations.
  • Monitor and report safety and security concerns to management.
  • Assist with opening and closing tasks as directed by management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Complete basic food handling training and any required local or state certifications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is crucial.
  • Maintain a friendly and energetic attitude throughout each shift.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to follow directions promptly.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to any situations that arise.
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills are necessary.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular standing, walking, and reaching throughout the theatre.
  • Noise levels may range from moderate to high.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
