Working Title: Adjunct Faculty Member – College of Natural & Behavioral Sciences – Psychology
Appointment Type: Adjunct
Purpose of Position: Christopher Newport University’s College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences is accepting applications for adjunct faculty members to teach individual courses as needed in Fall 2026 and beyond.

- Other courses within the department as needed
The Department of Psychology at Christopher Newport University includes 19 faculty members who are dedicated teachers, scholars, and active mentors. The department has 577 students (480 majors and 97 minors), comprising approximately 14% of all CNU students. It is housed in the College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences within the Mary Brock Forbes Integrated Science Center, offering state‑of‑the‑art teaching and research spaces.
The department collaborates closely with the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program and the Master of Arts in Teaching program. In 2024, U.S. News & World Report ranked CNU’s Psychology program among the “Best Undergraduate Psychology Programs” in the nation.
