Position Information:
Adjunct Faculty Member – College of Social Sciences / Anthropology / Sociology / Criminology / Social Work / Geography / GIS. Appointment Type:
Adjunct. Fall 2025 and beyond as needed for in-person courses.
The CNU College of Social Sciences is accepting applications from prospective adjunct faculty members to teach individual, in-person/face-to-face courses, as needed.
Teaching areas include:
- Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology – Sociology – Criminology – Social Work – Geography – Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Responsibilities include providing high-quality instruction and maintaining appropriate records for assigned courses.
Qualifications- Earned graduate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited university in a relevant discipline.
- 18 completed semester hours of related graduate coursework.
- Official transcripts required at time of hire.
- CNU-sponsed background check required.
The Department of Sociology, Social Work and Anthropology’s mission is to present the intellectual foundations of sociology, social work, anthropology, criminology and geography. It emphasizes core concepts, theories, research techniques, critical thinking, and clear expression in writing and speaking.
