The Role

Define the requirements to design, develop, build and maintain the tools, processes and data architecture of a Model Base Enterprise. Analyse capabilities of existing and proposed systems, develop technical, structural and organisational specifications, and lead stakeholders through conditions and designs for fully functional and secure digital solutions. Create long-range objectives and strategic plans for digital engineering innovations, communicate documented data and results to stakeholders, and generate business case analyses for executive leadership.

You will leverage digital engineering techniques to manage the lifecycle, develop, test and implement innovative engineering and design solutions for complex shipbuilding projects. Your responsibilities include leading R&D projects, systems engineering, process & tool solution development (CAD, CAE, cloud infrastructure, etc.),

applying industry standards, project management and strategy development. You will interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.

This position supports new submarine design and legacy programs, focusing on a model-based environment to research, test and implement digital engineering solutions. You will define the scope and level of such solutions for NNS programs and manage the associated environment and data.
