Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer 2 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters
- Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program. - Understanding the types of network cables.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
- PPE:
Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toes.
- Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Network design and implementations
- Outside Plant and Inside Plant cabling.
- Develop scope of work.
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.
WORK HOURS5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:00AM-3:30 PM
