Salary Range: $62,000.00 to $80,000.00

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range

The Role

Performs surveillance of radiological work areas to detect and document the level and type of ionizing radiation/radioactivity in accordance with radiological control regulations. Performs and documents air, water, solid and surface radioactivity/radiation surveys using instruments designed to detect type and level of activity. Determines usage and maintenance of nuclear containment apparatus. Responds to radiological incidents to ensure employee and environmental safety.

Have

A candidate must have successfully completed the NNS Rad Con Monitor Trainee program which is specifically defined and required by the Navy and have at least 2 years experience as a RCT, and must pass required re-qualification exams every 30 months and a Department of Defense Confidential Clearance.
