Salary Range:$63,000.00 to $80,000.00

The Role

Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.

May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience;
Master’s Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience

Preferred Qualifications /

Experience:

  • Working knowledge/experience creating and modifying NNS SAP Bills of Materials (EBOM and PBOM)
  • Working knowledge in Visual Work Document creation (favorable)
  • Working knowledge/use of Siemen's NX/Teamcenter (favorable)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting Specifications and Standards (favorable)
  • Working knowledge in Drawing Comprehension (favorable)
