Cost Estimating Analyst, Level 3

• Estimate labor and material costs of manufacturing and engineering based on RFP data
• Analyze specifications, sketches, blueprints, bills of material, and sample layouts
• Calculate production costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data
• Collect cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors
• Compute estimates for raw materials, subcontracted work, and labor
• Prepare and maintain historical cost data
• Create cost models for cost estimating elements
• Prepare cost reports and present findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience;
  Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience
• Equivalent pathways include NNS Apprentice School graduate;
  Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate; associate's degree or other formal 2 year program plus relevant experience; military paygrade E-5 or above military experience; or High School/GED with specified relevant experience
• U.S. Citizenship required

Demonstrates expertise in estimating labor and material costs for manufacturing and engineering projects, utilizing RFP data, specifications, and historical cost data. Proficient in preparing cost reports and presenting findings to various stakeholders.
