What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Project Manager to support several of our bulk terminals
What You Will Do- Serve as the Project Leader, organizing and directing efforts to achieve project objectives across capital, sustaining, reliability, regulatory compliance, and business development projects.
- Provide leadership in all phases of project execution, including project development, scope definition, engineering coordination, scheduling, estimating, procurement, construction oversight, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Coordinate closely with Terminal Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Maintenance, Project Execution, Inspection, and EHS teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant project delivery.
Support liquid bulk, petrochemical, specialty chemical, dry bulk, marine terminal, and infrastructure projects across multiple facilities
- Oversee and manage internal and external engineering, construction, inspection, and consulting resources to support project execution.
- Plan, schedule, and manage multiple capital and sustaining projects while ensuring commercial, operational, safety, environmental, and regulatory objectives are met.
- Develop Project Design Basis documents, scopes of work, execution plans, cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and funding requests.
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Provide technical support for civil and structural systems, coveyance/material handling systems, heavy equipment, cranes, rail and roadways, tank repairs, new tank construction, terminal infrastructure improvements, marine facilities, loading rack systems, pumping systems, product transfer piping, medium & low voltage electrical power distribution, instrumentation, SCADA/Automation and related facility projects.
- Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance personnel to identify and implement reliability, safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance improvements.
- Coordinate with Inspection and EHS teams to ensure compliance with company standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage contractors, vendors, consultants, inspectors, and construction personnel throughout project execution.
- Monitor project costs, schedules, risks, commitments, and forecasts to ensure successful project performance.
- Assist with annual capital planning, budgeting, and long-range infrastructure development initiatives.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements including DOT, OSHA, EPA, PHMSA, and other applicable agencies.
Maintain project documentation, turnover packages, inspection records, and regulatory files.
What You Need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- OR Minimum 5-7 years of progressively responsible project management experience supporting industrial, terminal, marine, petrochemical, bulk material handling, energy, pipeline, storage, or related infrastructure facilities
- Experience in project management, including design, various dry-bulk conveyance methods, warehousing, heavy equipment and cranes, general bulk and break-bulk material handling, pipeline construction, API 653 tank repair, inspection, and operation of facilities associated with dry-bulk & hazardous liquid terminals, truck loading terminals, marine docks, and related logistical, storage, and metering systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management practices, including project scoping and estimating using work breakdown structures, cost and schedule control, design and construction management, team leadership, resource planning, procurement, inspection requirements, and permitting.
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations and governing bodies, including DOT, OSHA, and relevant state agencies.
Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards, including NEC, ASME, API, NFPA, ASCE, ACI and ASTM.
- Relevant certifications such as NACE, API 570, API 510, API 653, or AWS are considered a plus, but not required.
- Valid state drivers license with an acceptable driving record, as determined by company standards.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook. Basic understanding of engineering and project management applications such as AutoCAD and MS Project/Visio
