Systems Test Engineer

• Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules
• Coordinate integrated testing activities
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness of the test program
• Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system-level evaluations
• Collect data, review, coordinate, and conduct test procedures across various ship systems
• Provide hands‑on deck plate support, technical guidance, and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with waterfront construction management, design engineering, test engineering, SUPSHIP, NAVSEA, and Ship's Force
• Review test issuance/completion status and update the Test Plan of the Day
• Provide system status and turnover
• Identify and recommend resolutions for system and programmatic issues
• Support E25 contract performance metrics, including scheduling, budgeting, and scoping

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 0 years of relevant exempt experience required
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience with ship systems on RCOH or new construction carriers, including Machinery Control and Monitoring (MCMS), Alarms (CKT FD and FL), and lighting systems
• Ability to collect data, review, coordinate, and conduct test procedures across various ship systems
• Ability to provide hands‑on deck plate support, technical guidance, and troubleshooting
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Ability to report overall status to supervisor
• No security clearance required to start

Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures for ship systems, with a focus on technical analysis, troubleshooting, and effective communication with stakeholders. Proficient in coordinating integrated testing activities and providing hands‑on support in a maritime environment.
