- Develop, analyze, research, and design welding techniques, procedures, and applications
- Use engineering principles to manipulate materials for fabrication and assembly processes
- Prepare technical documentation for waterfront welding processes, including specifications, analyses, standards, and restrictions
- Create new or modify current welding methods, techniques, and procedures to substantiate welding theories
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant exempt experience; OR Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience; OR Ph.D. and 0 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to work first shift
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Demonstrates expertise in developing and analyzing welding techniques and procedures, with a strong foundation in engineering principles for material manipulation and fabrication processes. Proficient in preparing technical documentation and modifying welding methods to support theoretical applications.
