HB Analytics, Reporting and Variance Manager

The HB Analytics, Reporting and Variance Manager is responsible for the trending, impact reporting, and payment variances for the company. Leads the daily operations of the department and oversees the billing software contract build and maintenance for expected reimbursement accuracy. Serves as Administrator to Patient Accounting third‑party reporting software to include maintaining custom dimensions and updating all mapping, creating and maintaining dashboards, and developing ad hoc reports as needed.

Ensures contract accuracy and manages AR to ensure optimal cash collection rates.

Newport News, Virginia

• Provides trending, impact reporting and payment variances
• Manages daily operations to include scheduling, team member engagement, employee relations, reporting, analysis, and departmental adherence to policies and procedures
• Serves as Administrator to Patient Accounting third‑party reporting software. Maintains custom dimensions and updates all mapping as needed. Creates and maintains dashboards. Develops ad hoc reports
• Manages AR to ensure optimal cash collection rates
• Interacts regularly with insurance payers to report and correct any contract or denial issues
• Oversees billing software contract build and maintenance. Works closely with IT team to improve workflows and initiate break fixes. Recommends/implements upstream fixes
• Acts as a liaison between Patient Accounting and facility leadership to provide feedback and address any concerns that they may have

• Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 8 years’ experience in revenue cycle with 5 years of revenue cycle analyst experience (Required)

• 6+ years Revenue Cycle experience (Required)
