TECHEAD is hiring for one of our clients, a large-scale distributor and manufacturer that operates across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C sales channels.
Our client is currently executing a multi‑phase project to implement a common set of business applications to manage and execute operations across several independent business units.
The Business Systems Analyst will be a core member of the project team, responsible for determining business requirements, collaborating with leadership to define end‑state operations, and supporting the migration of data from legacy systems into a new ERP environment (Sage X3). The project is currently entering Phase 2 of 3, focusing on integrating five additional companies into the established environment.
Primary Responsibilities- Requirements Management: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and user requirements, with a heavy focus on data mapping and transformation rules.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes to identify gaps and define new processes that meet organizational needs.
- Data Migration: Own the data migration requirements from multiple legacy systems (including homegrown applications and E21) into the Sage X3 environment.
- Systems Analysis: Evaluate detailed system factors (input/output, software/hardware needs) and "soft" factors (roles, culture, policy) to assess the impact of changes.
- Testing & Validation: Define and develop user test cases, validate results during testing, and execute unit and functional tests.

Facilitate working groups to define requirements and assist in the creation of business case documentation. - Support & Training: Provide third‑level support to troubleshoot production issues and participate in the design or delivery of training content.
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in business or systems analysis.
- Technical Focus: Strong hands‑on expertise in data migration/ETL (3–5 years) and working across multiple data environments.
- Tools: Must be proficient in Jira (3–5 years) and Confluence (3–5 years).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in Sales Ops, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, or Warehouse/Order Management is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with application integration methods and data mapping processes.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Skills:
Previous experience with Sage X3 (ERP) or SQL is a significant advantage.
- Proactive Communicator: Comfortable engaging the business and asking probing questions to drive outcomes.
- Collaborative: Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and all levels of associates.
- Organized: Able to manage simultaneous, complex projects with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
