Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $76,000.00

Analyze, program, configure, test and implement cloud or on-premise software applications in support of business objectives. May be responsible for part of or all aspects of the application/system life cycle as it relates to citizen development, including coordination with user groups to identify solutions that improve business processes, implementing changes, training, other user-focused activities and prepares specifications.
Works with the enterprise software development organization as a citizen developer to plan, manage and implement the installation of application/system upgrades, integrations and overall maintenance of system changes. Align the organization’s IT infrastructure with business processes/data to improve the efficiency & productivity of operations and research/recommend changes in application/system environment through internal customization and identify opportunities for increased productivity cost reduction.
Develop programming scripts to automate functionality of business applications and conduct user training as necessary.
The incumbent will assist w/ expanding the Engineering, Technology, and Design divisions SharePoint 365 migration and data finding/metrics in PowerBI working w/ current division leads. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have oversight of the divisions minor IT budget and coordinate required software and hardware purchases on behalf of all departments. This will include the visibility of software renewals, new hardware and/or required upgrade requests across the division.
The incumbent for this position will ensure network licenses, software/hardware renewals, proper Purchase orders or SMAX tickets are submitted, quantity of seats are reserved, guidelines are established for users, and appropriate budget is supported to meet critical needs of the business (across Engineering Technology, & Design). Candidate will also support PC coordinator functions.
Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience.
- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
- Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
- Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
- High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
