Associate Litigation Attorney

What You’ll Do:

• Represent clients in Virginia General District Court matters, including contract disputes, landlord/tenant cases, real estate disputes, and other civil litigation
• Draft, edit, and review legal documents, pleadings, and contracts
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide guidance, and develop effective legal strategies
• Conduct residential real estate closings
• Prepare estate plans, business agreements, and other transactional documents
• Stay current on legislation relevant to practice areas
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies while exercising independent judgment

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to the Virginia Bar, or pending bar admission (third-year practice certificate required if pending)
• Prior experience with General District Court preferred;
  Circuit Court exposure is a plus.
• Confidence in decision-making and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to high ethical standards, professionalism, and teamwork
• Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative legal culture
