Butterfly Staffing is supporting a global manufacturing organization seeking a Welding Engineer to support production, process improvement, and new product development within a heavy equipment environment.
This role interfaces cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve welding processes, resolve non-conformances, and support manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities- Review product designs for manufacturability
- Develop and improve welding processes and workflows
- Specify welding equipment and procedures
- Support disposition of non-conforming product
- Participate in design reviews and manufacturing feedback
- Identify and implement production efficiency improvements
- Support capital equipment and technology implementation
- BS in Welding Engineering (or related)
- 2–6+ years applicable welding/manufacturing experience (Level dependent)
- Experience with welding procedures, equipment specification, and process development
- Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of Lean principles and manufacturing improvement
- ERP/MRP and BOM experience preferred
Travel up to 10%.
Compensation commensurate with experience level.
