CRNA Position at Peninsula Surgery Center

Peninsula Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility providing a variety of surgical procedures on an outpatient basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Pre-anesthetic evaluation.
• Preparation for and administration of pre-anesthetics medications.
• Informed consent for anesthesia, induction, maintenance, and emergence.
• Preoperative and intra-operative care.
• Airway management, insertion of peripheral venous catheters, and management of Bier Blocks.
• Non-invasive monitoring modalities.
• Evaluation of patient response during emergence from anesthesia.
• Post anesthesia follow up evaluation.
• Respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation.
• Pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system.

Requirements include:

• Graduation from an accredited program in nurse anesthesia education.
• Certification or recertification by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Current, valid, unrestricted license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the state of Virginia.
• At least one full year of experience as a CRNA.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.

• Lodging/housing stipend: $107/daily
• Car Rental/Mileage stipend: $250/weekly
