American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring VA or compact licensure and cardiothoracic surgical experience.

• Level-II Trauma Center with 15 surgical suites, including one hybrid OR
• CVOR unit supporting 3 cardiothoracic surgeons and 5 vascular surgeons
• High-acuity surgical support for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• General OR proficiency required to circulate across core service lines
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call rotation includes four weekday call shifts (Mon-Fri) from end of shift until 7 AM
• On-call rotation also includes four weekend call shifts per month covering both day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a) on Saturday and Sunday
• Floating may be requested based on facility needs

• Active, unrestricted RN license required, must be VA or compact
• BLS and ACLS certifications required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• CVOR specialty experience within the last year required
• Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred, including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular support
• Scrubbing experience is a plus but not required
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Provide circulating and/or scrubbing support across cardiothoracic, vascular, and general OR cases
• Work within a multi-service surgical department supporting a high-acuity patient population
• Prior permanent employees must have a break in service of at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates may not work both a travel assignment and a per diem contract simultaneously at this facility
• RTO requests should be minimal, ideally none during the assignment and no more than 7 days total
• All RTO must be submitted and approved prior to the start of the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply with required travel experience
