Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Pay: $47.00–$51.00 per hour

We are hiring full-time Registered Nurses to provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital Emergency Department operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

• Day: 6:45 a.m.–6:45 p.m. — $47.00/hour
• Swing: Start time may vary between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. — $47.00/hour
• Night: 6:45 p.m.–6:45 a.m. — $51.00/hour

Shift times may change based on staffing and operational needs.

• Assess patients and obtain health histories
• Coordinate emergency care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications, wound care, and other nursing treatments
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies
• Provide patient education, counseling, and health-promotion services
• Assign and supervise care based on staff qualifications and scope of practice
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Coordinate referrals and specialty care when appropriate
• Follow all clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited program
• At least one year of RN experience within the past two years
• Current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Ability to pass a government background investigation
