Riverside is currently seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Lifelong Health & Aging Related Services team in Newport News, Virginia.

** Position Qualifications
**** Nurse Practitioner Requirements
*** Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia
* Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license with an appropriate specialty designation, including:  + Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC)  + Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC)  + Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC/FNP-C)  + Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), when applicable to palliative care practice
* Current national certification through an approved certifying body (ANCC, AANP, AACN, or equivalent) corresponding to specialty designation
** Physician Assistant Requirements
*** Active and unrestricted Virginia Physician Assistant license
* Current NCCPA certification
** Prescriptive Authority Requirements
*** Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
* Eligibility for Virginia Schedule II-VI prescriptive authority
** Certifications
* ** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
