Project Services Team – Entry-Level Evening Floor Technician

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 5:00pm–1:30am | $16–$18/hr | Newport News, VA

We’re hiring an Entry-Level Evening Floor Technician to join our Project Services Team — a small, disciplined crew responsible for specialized commercial floor care projects throughout Newport News and surrounding areas.

This is a full-time evening position for someone dependable, steady, and ready to learn a skilled trade in a structured environment.

No prior experience required. We provide hands‑on training, mentorship, and a clear path for advancement.

We supply the vehicle, equipment, uniforms, and training. You bring consistency, accountability, and professionalism.

The Work
  • Strip, wax, buff, and restore commercial floors
  • Operate professional‑grade floor equipment (training provided)
  • Load and manage equipment at job sites
  • Follow established safety and chemical handling protocols
  • Complete projects on schedule and to defined quality standards

This is active, physical work requiring focus, stamina, and attention to detail.

About the Project Services Team

The Project Team is intentionally small. Each technician is trusted to perform consistently and represent the company with professionalism.

Reliability matters here. A missed step, a late arrival, or cutting corners impacts the entire team.

  • Strong attendance record and punctuality
  • Ability to commit to a Monday–Friday evening schedule
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
