QA, Inc. is currently seeking Software Developers to support the modernization of the DISA Global Command and Control Systems – Joint (GCCS-J) Family of Systems (FoS). The selected team members will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, people-focused environment where they will interact with users, customers, and other developers on various Command and Control Systems.

In this position, you will support full life cycle product development on a variety of architectures and target hardware platforms. Selected individuals will likely begin working on legacy platforms to a) build their knowledge of the product and b) help identify their areas of interest and strengths. As you become more integrated into the teams, you will shift towards full-stack development, CI/CD, containerization, and modernization efforts.

Additionally, you will perform unit testing and contribute to the development of software documentation.

We are interested in speaking to candidates with the following skills:

• Java programming and industry-accepted practices (e.g., thread pools, abstract class implementations, unit testing, concurrency)
• Experience with JavaScript UX Frameworks (e.g., Angular, ViewJS, React)
• Linux and Windows System Administration skills
• Source code management tools (e.g., CVS, Subversion, git)
• Cross-platform management (Windows and Unix/Linux data exchange)
• Virtual machine environments, Kubernetes, Microservice Architectures
• Understanding of test-driven software development
• Familiarity with Dev Ops, automated container deployment, performance testing, debugging, net-centric technologies, or database design and orchestration tools

Pay Range:
The salary for this role is $80,000 - $125,000 USD, depending on various factors such as location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
