Superflex Roadside Patrol - South West

About the Role

Join the RAC as a Super Flex Roadside Mechanic. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on, working across the South West area including Exeter and Swindon. You’ll work an average of 40 hours per week, with shifts from 06:00 to 02:00, covering early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Competitive salary of £50,669 basic, with the opportunity to earn up to £57,000 with bonuses and overtime.

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults on the roadside.
• Provide a flat tyre or flat battery service as needed.
• Manage your own kit and keep the van stocked.
• Handle reports with precision and support each member to keep them moving.
• Make quick decisions under pressure and maintain a calm, confident approach.

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• A customer‑focused approach.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work at short notice and travel with overnight stays if necessary.

• Strong base pay of £50,669 a year, plus bonuses and overtime up to £57,000.
