We're expanding our flooring team across South Wales as work grows across our long-term facilities maintenance contracts.

• This is a role for experienced floor layers who want to settle in and build something, not hop between short-term jobs.

• Planned and reactive flooring work across client sites — from routine tasks and spot repairs to small projects
• Working with a variety of floor coverings, including vinyl, carpet and safety flooring
• Minor repairs to wooden sub‑floor structures
• Estimating works, with full detail of scope and materials
• Accurately recording completed works and any follow‑ups via our job management system
• Working to a realistic, pre‑planned schedule, with out‑of‑hours and on‑call duties as required

• Experience as a floor layer, with knowledge of fitting a variety of floor coverings including vinyl, carpet, and cap and cove
• Experience with in the facilities maintenance sector
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving, and a passion for passing on knowledge
• Carpentry and basic plumbing skills would be a distinct advantage
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 (or equivalent)
• A full UK driving licence
• Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
• Floor laying qualifications or an apprenticeship, project management experience, and H&S training (e.g. IOSH) are all a bonus, but not essential.

• Salary up to £34,320 depending on experience (realistic earnings nearer £40,000 when door to door travel is included)
• Company van + fuel card
• Overtime available (never forced)
