Location: Bristol, Somerset, South Wales
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive + Overtime + Company Vehicle
About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending customer sites to diagnose, repair and maintain equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.
This role involves travel to various client locations and participation in an on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency breakdowns and service call-outs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Provide technical advice and support to customers on-site
- Liaise with internal departments regarding parts and follow-up work
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
- Previous experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role
- Strong mechanical knowledge (electrical experience advantageous)
- Ability to fault find and problem-solve under pressure
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable)
