The Housing Authority of Newport is currently accepting resumes for the position of Occupancy Specialist in their Section 8 Department.

• Conduct group and individual client sessions on program rules
• Execute necessary paperwork for assistance
• Calculate tenant rents
• Document and maintain client files
• Perform data input and entry
• Assist with occupancy matters

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Excellent math and communication skills
• Previous experience in housing or social service programs is a plus
