Occupancy Specialist
The Housing Authority of Newport’s Section 8 Department is seeking an Occupancy Specialist to conduct group and individual sessions with clients, administer program rules, complete required paperwork, calculate tenant rents, document client files, perform data input, and assist with occupancy matters.
Responsibilities- Conduct group and individual client sessions regarding program rules
- Execute all necessary paperwork for assistance
- Calculate tenant rents accurately
- Document and maintain client files
- Enter data into program databases
- Assist with various occupancy matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Excellent math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in housing or social service programs is a plus
