Specialist Footwear

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist Footwear to deliver expert service in our high-energy retail environment. You will help athletes find the right fit by using product knowledge, fit tools, and gait assessment to recommend performance footwear for running, training, and outdoor activities. Responsibilities include driving sales, achieving personal and store goals, maintaining a visually compelling footwear department, and ensuring shelves are fully stocked and organized.

You will process transactions, handle returns, and resolve customer questions with a solutions-focused mindset. Responsibilities

• Deliver expert footwear product knowledge to help athletes choose the right fit and performance features
• Provide personalized fitting services, including gait and arch assessments using in-store tools
• Maintain an organized, visually appealing footwear department aligned with company merchandising standards
• Track inventory levels, restock footwear, and assist with product transfers and markdowns
• Achieve individual and store sales goals through suggestive selling and add-on recommendations
• Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale as needed
• Resolve customer issues and returns in a professional, solutions-focused manner
• Stay current on new footwear technologies, brands, and sport-specific performance needs
• Collaborate with teammates to support store events, promotions, and community initiatives
