** General Summary
** The Assistant Manager manages overall store operations and the achievement of company goals and directives.

** Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* ** Customer Service
*** Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group
* Proactively assist customers in solving problems
* Greet customers entering and throughout the store; thank them when leaving
* Provide a friendly, outgoing demeanor and work well with customers and associates
* Ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly and courteously
* Resolve customer issues with Ace Retail Group’s best interest in mind
* Maintain strong product and store layout knowledge
** Store Operations
*** Ensure a positive, professional, and safe work environment
* Supervise general operations of the store
* Open and close the store as needed
* Assist with Store Support Center program implementation
* Ensure Loss Prevention, Safety, and Audit success
* Partner with the General Manager on store operations
* Participate in weekly management meetings
* Communicate issues to Store Support Center with GM approval
* Assist with district projects from the District Manager
* Implement Standard Operating Procedures
* Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor areas
* Ensure price changes and labels are accurate and timely
* Oversee associate training, audits, and reporting
* Manage preventative maintenance and repairs
* Monitor competitor activity
* Perform other duties as assigned
