EGC Construction, an operating unit of Messer Construction Co., is currently seeking an Electrician to join the team.

EGC employs more than 120 skilled craft workers that focus on safety,quality and customer satisfaction. We offer general,commercial and industrial construction including electrical work, millwrights, pipefitter sand structural steel detailers.

Headquartered in Newport, Kentucky and have been servicing local, regional, and international clients since 1978. EGC is committed tothe safetyandcontinuousimprovement of our safety systems.

• Read and interpret single line diagrams, elementarydrawingsand P&’s
• Installation of raceways:
  Cable tray, Wirewayand Rigid conduit
• Instrumentation and Control wiring and/or tubing.
• C1D1 and intrinsically safe wiring methods.
• Perform planned maintenance,inspection,and installationonprocess and production equipment.
• Follow job site safety and regulations andmaintaina safe and clean work area.
  
  Identify safety hazards and protect self and others.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates must have transportation andgood communication skills.
• OSHA 10 Certified
• Willing to travel
• Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions.

EGC is a merit shop contractor supporting a Team working environment. All Team members will berequiredfrom time to time to perform other duties they are qualified to perform, outside of this job description and their normal work function.
