Overview

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Newport, Oregon. Travel assignment starts 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is Varied, with every other weekend. Work setting is a hospital-based Emergency Department that handles a wide range of non‑critical to emergent conditions, including cardiac, trauma, and pediatric care. Weekly pay ranges from $2,104 to $2,228 per week.

• Provide direct care for ED patients with a wide range of acute and non‑urgent needs, including emergent mental health care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, ongoing monitoring, and documentation; respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, analgesia, and basic interventions; support resuscitation and trauma procedures as part of the code team.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff; assist with procedures and patient disposition planning.
• Coordinate patient and family education, discharge planning, or transfer to appropriate services; ensure accurate charting in the electronic medical record.
• Provide age‑appropriate care, including pediatric and adult patients, while adhering to department protocols and safety standards.

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required; CEN preferred.
• ER nursing experience preferred; ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced ED environment.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekend coverage and shifts in a high‑acuity setting.
